Naturalnatures Tours

Explore Your Wild Side

I believe that there is a subtle magnetism in Nature, which, if we unconsciously yield to it, will direct us aright.
— Henry David Thoreau

Sharing the Journey

There is no way to truly communicate what living on the road and sleeping outside in a tent while eating cans of beans, vegetables, and meat does for the soul of a human. I mean, aside from experiencing it all yourself. That is what NaturalNatures Tours is all about.

Other tours offer the chance to just ride in a bus for a few hours, stop at some place that is highly frequented by other tourists, hike around a bit, and then go bed down in the nearest hotel. We find that this kind of tour completely takes away from what it really means to road trip, and so we want to create a tour company based on roughnecking it while on the road.

Imagine driving around in a truck or an old school bus with just 4-14 other people, camping in tents, meeting incredible normal people, and adventuring out into wilderness that few others stop to see. This is the dream we want to make  come true.

Future Plans

Our goal for the tours will be to have two separate options: one for the beginner, and one for the seasoned.

Beginner:

Our beginner option would feature a week long road trip, and would be capped at a total of 15 people. This would be the tour that would require a bus, and some of the features would be as follows:

  • Limited to 1-3 states, there would be approximately 3-5 hours of driving each day.
  • Sites would include at least one stop at a National Park, and at least one stop each for a National Forest and BLM land.
  • Attendees would learn how to build a fire, cook a camping dinner (including tin-foil and canned), and of course how to put-up and take down a tent.
  • At least initially, Vlad, Alex, and Abe would all be in attendance as hosts. (This could change upon the creation of the Farm and any need to care for it that may arise)

Seasoned:

For the seasoned (or maybe just those that have the time to commit and the thirst for adventure), we would offer a month long excursion. The method of transportation would be a truck or pair of trucks, and the number of attendees (minus the hosts) would be limited to five. Some of the features would be as follows:

  • There will be very little to define the route aside from a pick-up location and date and a drop-off location and date.
  • Sites will include time in multiple National Parks, at least one spelunking tour, and lots of time in BLM and National Forest land.
  • Attendees will learn what it means to be entirely interdependent, as they are subjected to 24 hour exposure to one-another and the hosts: Vlad, Alex, and Abe.
  • Attendees will learn how to live off of the land, scavenging for food, possibly with opportunities for hunting (if private land can be obtained and the correct licenses are obtained).
  • There will be the chance for great intellectual and spiritual growth as you will be constantly bombarded with new ideas and new ways of thinking.
