What makes a picture a NaturalNature?

So glad you asked. After all this is a site dedicated to sharing the photos that have become known as NaturalNatures, and if you think a picture of a person just hiking, or, worse, sitting on the couch eating Cheetos while watching re-runs of Big Bang Theory can be a NaturalNature then you are sadly mistaken. You see, we don’t much like the boring stuff here, we like the bold and the beautiful. And by beauty we simply mean the natural.

Here are the basic steps to taking a NaturalNature:

1. Get your ass out in nature and do some hiking, mountain biking, running, rowing, climbing, or even skiing. Pretty much anything that gets you on an intimate basis with the world around you, but let’s try and keep it man powered, sound good?

2. Find an awe-inspiring view that takes your breath away and makes you consider the frailty and significance of your own mortality.

3. Figure out an appropriate pose.

4. Get naked and strike that pose while either having your timer based camera take a picture or your buddies that came on the adventure with you. Whether or not they realized that would be a thing happening is unimportant. Sometimes you can even find a chill stranger that will give you a hand—just don't push your luck.

There it is, four real simple steps: Get your ass in Nature, Find a View, Find a Pose, Get Naked. That really is the entire basic outline for what we are doing here, though we do also want it to be tasteful. Perhaps you haven’t read anything on the site yet and so you still haven’t gotten the point that we are not a pornographic site, but just in case here is another reminder—We are not porn! So please don’t post pictures that are pornographic rather than artistic.

Just be tasteful and find the beauty of the body in relation to the beautiful world around you and it should end up tasteful. Most of all, have fun and experience new adventures.
